Apple fans have greatly awaited the iPhone 14 release since its press announcement back on September 7, 2022. In the Apple Event held at Cupertino, California, they announced that the new series will have four new iPhones.
The prices of the device line-up range from 𝙋𝙝𝙥 𝟓𝟔,𝟗𝟗𝟎 𝙩𝙤 𝙋𝙝𝙥 𝟏𝟎𝟐,𝟗𝟗𝟎!
Apple still has a consistent sleek design, but its iconic notch is gone! What used to hold the top speaker and camera now has an interactive screen that mimics a black bar when not in use. The pro models are now called “notchless”. This distinctive design and bigger cameras were the headlines for dozens of articles, and the pictures of the apple event are all over social media feeds. Many people, however, are caught between a mix of intrigue and excitement.
A little over a month later, on October 14, 2022, the iPhone 14 series officially launched in the Philippines. Filipinos queued up to get their hands on the new phone, even with the price. Different branches of Power Mac Centers, Beyond the Box, and The Loop by Apple had long queues of giddy customers excited to check out brand-new tech.
Due to the influx of customers, some branches had to put up barriers at their entrances and set up chairs outside the stores for the customers in line.
What’s so good about the phone? It’s only been a year since the iPhone 13 release. One might think that there aren’t any significant changes to the new set, but on the contrary, the iPhone 14 has a unique “notchless” design. Instead of having a black bar above the screen, it has a dynamic and interactive section that tunes to different applications.
Also, instead of the “mini” models, the iPhone 14 series has a “plus” version! It’s the best option for users who want a bigger screen size but don’t want to spend money on the pro models.
The cameras are also significantly more extensive than the older models, making them suitable for photographs and videos, especially mirror selfies.
The release garnered mixed reactions from the netizens. Some said that the new features were worth the upgrade, while others disagreed. Some also said that the latest series might seem different, but it’s generally the same as last year’s.
Nevertheless, dozens of people still swarmed to get the devices. How about you? Are you willing to break the bank for an upgrade?
