Have you come across a good movie that you can’t stop rewatching? Are you one of those people who love Disney princess movies and found the movie, Enchanted… enchanting? What if I told you that after 15 years, a sequel is here?!

The Enchanted movie premiered on the 20th of October, 2007. The film received good reviews from critics and won the hearts of little kids. After all, who wouldn’t enjoy a princess movie with a good twist?

With the movie ending on a happily ever after, who would’ve thought that there would be a part two? The sequel is entitled Disenchanted and was announced in December 2020, set to release in 2022. Fans were excited since the movie will carry on with the original cast! The main cast, Amy Adams, Patrick Dempsey, James Marsden, and Idina Menzel are back for the second film.

In September 2022, the official teaser trailer was released and just 3 weeks ago, the official trailer was released! It stirred up quite a speculation on how the movie is going to turn out.

What do we know from the trailer?

It started with Giselle, Robert, and Morgan moving to a new city to start a new life with their family’s new addition. A new house, a new neighborhood, and a new life that Robert and Morgan seemed to have some trouble adjusting to. With the wishing wand given by King Edward and Queen Nancy, Giselle wished for everything to be well—a fairytale life. But with that wish, things went south, and she had to make everything right before the clock strikes midnight. Towards the end of the trailer, Giselle appeared to become an evil stepmother to Morgan, or so we thought.

Nevertheless, Disney fans, especially those who grew up watching Enchanted are looking forward to the new movie.

What do you think? Is Giselle going to turn evil? Will the princess become the evil stepmother? Will there still be happy endings?

Disenchanted is now available for streaming on Disney+.
