A Year that Came from You

Evening winds without a trace

A moment of fate without a proper pace

Everything is here, everything is laid down

All of it, because of you.

A love that once faltered

Was now a beating heart

Within a husk of a former world

now founded as priceless art

It may be more than what yesterday was

But one thing will stand true

This world would not have spun again

If it weren’t for you.

To think that you are far beyond my reach

Stings true to my head in vain

You’ve called me a partner

You’ve called me your love

A friend who’ll last forever

While we miss each other gone…

But why has fate stroked a thin line between us

A wall that cuts through our hand

By the very kin that hold us dear

Thou art love is divine?

Thus the bitter cold flows below

Within months that felt like years ago

What a harsh place to feel alone

Underneath a home I’ve never known

Who have blown my moans back

Through walls that shown my sewn throne

Built by bones that still chill against the tone

Of the voice I miss that is you

Thy love that is us, are not divided in distance

Perhaps more than what I think it is

Afar from a realm beyond my own

Without doubts it shook my ground

Betrayed by destiny, relayed through a letter

Belayed the love that never faded

While I waited for another chance

Until all my time was wasted

Within a chasm of hatred towards fate that

Strayed my faith towards a love

Whom never wavered.

Such a bitter test towards me

Blinded an eye that was meant to see

I cried,

Again

Without you

There’s no telling what miracle may come next

As everything came to play

The day you weaved the strings of today

Creating words meant for love to say,

Adoration that came be

And a tomorrow for all to see,

Perhaps you were the key

In unlocking colors of a world

Of a grey world that is me

No lies, just plain true

This new season could not have bloomed

If it weren’t for you
